            Christian W. Clinger is a founding member of the law and mediation firm Clinger Lee Clinger, LLC Attorneys & Mediators. Christian is a recognized attorney and mediator throughout Utah and the intermountain west. His business law and litigation clients include some of Utah’s largest corporations, restaurant franchises, and automobile dealerships. He served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors for ChamberWest from 2004-2008, and he served as its General Counsel.
 
            The Utah State Bar named Christian its Section Leader of the Year in 2004, and its Young Lawyer of the Year in 2005. In 2006, Christian was elected to the Utah State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners where he represents the attorneys in Salt Lake, Summit, and Tooele counties. In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, Utah Business Magazine named Christian amongst “Utah’s Legal Elite.”  In 2008 and 2009, Super Lawyer magazine named Christian as a “Rising Star” in the legal community for all of Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and UtahChristian brings his experience litigating cases and negotiating settlements and contracts to the field of mediation.
 
            Christian mediates a broad range of cases including commercial and corporate business matters, real property disputes, commercial contracts, probate disputes, commercial and residential landlord/tenant issues, and divorce and custody conflicts. Christian’s business mediations have included Fortune 500 companies as well as international corporations. In addition to his private mediation practice, Christian actively mediates cases and provides mediaiton training through the Institute of Advanced Mediation & Problem Solving.   He has also been a guest lecturer and mediation trainer for Utah Dispute Resolution and the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution. He served as the co-chair of the 2008 and the 2010 Symposium for the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution Symposium.  In May 2009, he served as the Symposium’s chair.  In March 2009, Christian was a panelist at Governor Huntsman’s 2009 Utah Economic Summit on the subject of mediation.
 
            Christian is an active member of the Utah State Bar Dispute Resolution Section, the American Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution. In 2008, Christian was elected to the Board of Directors for the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution.
